- Synopsis:
This manga is about a girl, Futaba Yoshioka, who wants to change the way people look at her. In junior high all of the other girls were jealous of how cute Futaba was, so the other girls began to ostracize Futaba. When she went into high school she made the choice to change the way she acts and looks by acting more boyish But in junior high the only boy she liked was Kou Tanaka. In their second year of junior high Kou moved away before she could tell him about her feelings. When she is in high school she meets Kou again, but now he is different.
- Review:
If you want a terrific slice of life manga, then Ao Haru Ride is a great choice. This manga is similar to I, My, Me or Hirunaka no Ryuusei. When i was reading this manga it always kept me reading. I spent just two days reading the 49 chapters. The drawings of the manga were fantastic. I thought that they were very well done and showed the feelings of the charcters well. The characters had their individuality. Each character was very different from one another and had great back stories. The story of the manga was super interesting. It definitely will keep you reading. The story has cliffhangers which keep the reader involved in the manga. I would recommend this manga to anyone who likes romance, drama, and some comedy.
This review is all my opinion.
