Nail Tutorial: Panda Bears

Panda Bear Nails

First, you want to apply a base coat. You can apply a peel off base coat or just a regular base coat. I used a hardener as mine.

Next, you want to apply a base color that will be the background for your panda bear. This color can be any that you want. I chose a light blue. You can use a pink, or green, or yellow ect.

After that, you need to make the body of the panda bear. Using a white nail polish or white acrylic paint, make a half circle at the end of your nail. You can use the nail polish's brush or you can use a small paintbrush dipped in white nail polish to create the half circle. *Optional, after painting the half circle add a top coat to your nail.

After that, you are going to add two black dots at the top of the half circle. The two black circles are the ears of the panda bear. You want to make sure that the two circles are symmetrical. To create the dots you can use a nail dotting tool or you can use a bobby pin.

Then, you are going to add two sideways ovals in the middle of the half circle. The ovals are to be angled up towards your cuticles. Make sure that is a space between the two ovals. Just like before you can use a dotting tool or a bobby pin. *Optional, after painting the half circle add a top coat to your nail.

Lastly, you will add a small white dot inside the black oval. The white dot is going to add to the black eye. The white dots can be put anywhere in the black ovals. For the smaller dots you can use a smaller dotting tool or a toothpick. Add a top coat to your finished manicure to seal in the design and make the manicure last longer.
